But all of them are at risk: More than one in four children with learning disabilities drop out of school, and only about one in eight attend four-year college within two years of leaving high school. These kids can learn — and succeed in school and beyond. But they need our help.There's so much that can be done, and knowledge is critical — the earlier learning disabilities are diagnosed, the more effective treatment can be. Parents can get informed and learn if their own children may be at risk — and how those disabilities can be treated effectively.
